Workshop and Mingleparty 5th Oct 2010

The workshop and mingle party that Antor arranged the 5th of October was a success. 37 tourist offices particpated and the event had over 250 guests. We were overbooked and could have had 100´s of more guests. The idea of "Come and have a taste of the world" was greatly appriciated. The guests could taste wine from Tunisia and France, Guiness from Ireland, Enchilladas from Mexico and much more. The idea of having a more serious opening hour without music and time for meetings and talk was good and will continue next year. The first serious and quiet hour was followed by music, food, drinks and dance.

Travel journalist Bobo Karlsson and photographer Bruno Ehrs were rewarded for Best Travel Article of the Year 2009/2010. The article about Lisbon "Europas sista oskuld" (Europs last virgin) was published in the supplement 2 dagar in Göteborgs Posten  in September 2009. Below follows Antors motivation for awarding Bobo Karlssons article.

"An irresistible, personal, intelligent and initiated description that transfer the reader right into the inner essence of Lisbon. Bobo Karlsson manage to successfully combine information and facts about history, development and the present, with trustworthy personal reflections about the city as a dynamic and living creature with many faces. We, the readers, are accompanied straight into the streets and alleys and we experience with all our senses that we are almost there. The article works, at the same time, as an excellent guide with all the facts you find there about hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs and shopping.
